Garden Shed Layout

The garden shed, where the mains power and Ethernet switch are located, is a simple unlined colorbond steel construction. The panelling is simply screwed onto a steel frame. This simple construction results in the frame channels littered with protruding ends of self-tapping screws. This generally does not prevent a cable conduit from being laid in those channels, but it does mean that the conduits tend to snake sideways and vertically because of the obstructions.
The cables from the external enclosure enter the shed on its northern wall and travel around the walls, over the door and window to the southern wall where the Ethernet switch and the +24V power supply is located.
