Santiago to Valparaiso
After arriving back from Easter Island, Mark & Alexa spent a couple of days in Santiago staying at the Hostel Cienfuegos, before catching a local bus to Valparaiso to board the cruise ship. They explored using the area using the Santiago Hop On-Hop Off bus.
They also took the Santiago Metro from the hostel to the Grand Torre Santiago and the Sky Costanera 360° observation platform. The views were spectacular, but they are prone to haze, unlike the promotional images that are always taken when the haze has cleared.
