The garden shed, where the mains power and Ethernet switch are located, is a simple unlined colorbond steel construction. The panelling is simply screwed onto a steel frame. This simple construction results in the frame channels littered with protruding ends of self-tapping screws. This generally does not prevent a cable conduit from being laid in those channels, but it does mean that the conduits tend to snake sideways and vertically because of the obstructions.
